Our underground induction loop provides not only fully automatic gate operation to gain either entry or exit to your property but can also be used to provide improved safety by preventing gates closing onto vehicles. This additional safety function can only be used on wooden gates as it detects moving metallic objects. Usually, a loop of induction cable is inserted below ground level (around 100mm) so that as vehicles pass over, a relay switches and opens the gates or barriers.
